Stalin's control of Education, Youth Groups, The Arts, & The Media




As the great leader that he is, Joseph Stalin has programmed education, youth groups, arts and the media to build the next best future generation of leaders and ensure that the future of our country remains in good, and capable hands. Under Stalin’s rule education has prospered and experienced lots of change. A stricter method of discipline based one the education law of 1935 existed which served to create better disciplined citizens that eventually make up a well disciplined society. Not only that, but Stalin was able to reintroduce report cards and test marks, that had been abolished in the 1920s, as wells as school uniforms that showcased a disciplined united community. Stalin's goal is to build the best possible future leaders to create the best possible Soviet Union. Therefore, many pupils in schools learned to cherish his message and aspired to be it: 'It is the duty of each school child to acquire knowledge persistently so as to become an educated and cultured citizen and to be of the greatest possible service to his country.’ Stalin deeply valued literacy and encouraged even illiterate adults to attend school or evening classes and strengthen their knowledge. By 1939 stalin witnessed illiteracy decline to just 4% of the male and 18% of the female population. Children in the soviet union held a special place in the hearts of Stalin and the party. Not only did they represent innocence, but also the promise of socialist future. To ensure that they were treated well and educated politically our glorious leader stalin devised youth organizations such as the Komsomol, Young Pioneers, and Little Octobrists. To build a better socialist society spreading news and big announcements through media was very essential, like radios for example. Stalin demanded in putting radio receivers in common places so that everyone would have the chance to hear the news and know what is going. Our leader has posters posted too, they are usually found in these common places as well so that it is available for everyone to see. Art was also a way of spreading news, Stalin our mighty leader is shown in the arts that are posted. The art that is published is filled with happiness, as our heroic leader is shown battling our rivals.
